The weekend is too short...but at least I have this beautiful new mug!

I want to lobby for a 3-day weekend. I think 4 days is more than enough time to get work-related stuff done. I'm sad the weekend is nearly over...it goes too fast! Valentine's day is almost here and the pink and red stuff have been in the stores for weeks. I'm not sure if I'll be sending out many valentines this year, (though I should make a decision soon!) but I was at the market and saw these pickled treats, which immediately made me think of a dear friend and I will be sending them to her for V-day.

I've never seen pickles to go! It cracks me up and I'm sure she will get a kick out of them, too.
Also, I noticed one of my favorite Etsy shops had a few "slightly imperfect" items for sale so I snapped them up! I received the first item in the mail this weekend and I think its perfect! I can't find a single flaw. Beautiful work and packaging. If you are a Jane Austen fan or you just love pretty, well-made goods, check out Brookish!

Frost/Nixon

Saturday night, Fig, my mom, and I went to see a wonderful production of Frost/Nixon at the Tacoma Little Theater. This was Fig's first show with the theater; he worked on props. The production is just shy of 2 hours and there is no intermission. I thought it might be a long night, but the actors were so engaging and the play was so well directed that time flew by! It did not feel like 2 hours. I loved it and totally to recommend it to anyone reading this who lives in the Tacoma area. Go see it, it is wonderful.

New cards in the shop!

Just posted these new cards:

Rabbit Card

Wombat Hearts Card

This is the original Wombat Hearts painting.

It is snowing here tonight, though it is supposed to be washed away by rain later on tonight. This is the view from my desk window. There are people in the street and in the park across from us throwing snowballs and frolicking in the snow. Time for more tea!

Rabbit

This is Rabbit. I just scanned it in on my new Epson. I'm still trying to find the right paper, but once I do I'm going to list a few prints in my shop.

A few treats from Etsy...

I recently treated myself to a few goodies from Etsy. Check out my new stuff:

This amazing and beautifully printed poster from MEERALEE ILLUSTRATION:

I haven't had the chance to frame it yet, but I think sometime this weekend I will pick up a nice frame for it and hang it in our office/studio for inspiration! Also, I have to note that this seller was very generous and included an extra, beautiful illustration in my package. So nice!

A few other HP related goodies I picked up were these fun buttons from KawaiiWonderland:

AND this adorable Hufflepuff Bracelet from ucheekymonkey:

As soon as I received this bracelet I tied it on my wrist. I love it!
